Dr. Peter Lasater is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who was inspired to pursue medicine by his physician father. He chose orthopedics for its hands-on nature and the ability to identify and resolve patient problems. His approach is guided by empathy, understanding, and a commitment to being a good listener.
Dr. Lasater’s extensive training provides him with deep clinical expertise.
Dr. Lasater was a recipient of the Palmer Award in Orthopaedic Surgery, a distinction for top graduating students, and the Hour Detroit Top Docs List. He is also committed to global medical service and has participated in medical mission trips to provide care in underserved communities abroad.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lasater enjoys traveling, exercise, playing and watching basketball, and spending time with his family.
